Meet Dr. Sylvester Nwedo
Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry And Neurology
Board Certified in Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Nwedo specializes in adult and adolescent psychiatric care, addiction medicine, and is certified in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy. Dr. Nwedo’s approach in treating his patients is to offer the most advanced forms of treatment available.
TMS therapy was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2008 as the most advanced form of depression treatment for patients who’ve tried multiple antidepressant medications and psychotherapy with no real relief from their depressive symptoms. TMS is covered by most insurance providers, and has been proven to be safe and effective with minimal, if any, side effects. TMS is a brief in office therapy where patients can immediately return to their normal activities.

Say “NO” to Depression with TMS and start living the life you deserve to live.
TMS uses very short pulses of magnetic energy to stimulate nerve cells in a targeted area of the brain. TMS was first used in 1985, and has been the focus of many researchers to further understand how the brain works and functions. TMS was approved by the FDA for clinical use in 2008 for depression, and in 2018 for OCD, and now is widely used to treat both conditions.

Spravato Therapy
Treatment resistant depression can be hard to treat, but now patients and doctors have a new safe and effective treatment option, Spravato Therapy. It is important to remember that depression is a chronic condition that can get better with treatment.
Spravato nasal spray is administered by the patient under the supervision of a specialty trained healthcare provider and is not prescribed to the patient to be administered at home. For those with suicidal thoughts or actions, Spravato does not take the place of emergency help or hospitalization when needed or directed by a physician.
When visiting our treatment center, patients can expect to relax in a massaging chair in a quiet room for approximately 2-hours while being monitored closely by our trained Spravato specialists.
TMS for Depression is covered by most insurance
